SR30 -Yachtline- Summer idyll on Berlin’s Wannsee

Pure enthusiasm for the SR30 -YACHTLINE-

At the end of 2016, I visited the exhibition “Boat and Fun” in the Berlin exhibition halls with my partner. Among the many boats on display, we particularly liked the 29-YACHTLINE exhibited by the Öchsner company. But we were still in the “discovery phase” and struggling with the purchase. A year later we visited the boat show again and my partner was totally thrilled with the SR30 -YACHTLINE-. The fact that a boat from the Öchsner company was the first choice for her ultimately convinced me as well.

Ship’s christening and first meeting

At the beginning of April 2017, the SR30 was delivered to Berlin on the trailer and moved into its berth at Wannsee (Havel), where it was christened “Avantgarde” on 17 June. After all, the name should also be appropriate for such a modern and chic boat. So we spent most of the summer on board, exploring the surrounding waters in Berlin and Brandenburg or just chilling in a secluded bay with a good drop of wine on board. Of course, after the announcement of our new acquisition, we spontaneously had more visits from friends and the children. With our grandchildren, we are now the coolest grandparents and our friends are already inviting themselves for the coming season.

Since last summer in Berlin was quite rainy, we hope for an improvement in the weather this year, so that we can also plan longer trips that we will be happy to report on.
