Experience report SX20 -Yachtline-: Bleilochtalsperre reservoir

We finally went to Saalburg at the weekend for the first longer turn with our SX20 -Yachtline- on the Bleilochtalsperre reservoir. The trailer and boat were easy to pull with the car, they are perfectly coordinated. The slipway at the campsite is very shallow, but was no problem at all with our faith. After slipping the boat, we drove comfortably to our jetty. Full of joy, we then did a few laps. We spent the night in the boat on the jetty that we had booked from home. Driving our faith or even sleeping in it was just as we imagined it would be. There is enough space to spend cozy days on it. The next morning we had our first breakfast on the boat. The atmosphere on the water, passing boats and friendly people were just great. We quickly cast off and set off, after all we wanted to explore the 28 km long valley with faith. The handling of the SX20 -Yachtline- is flawless, it always behaves in a balanced manner on the water. We are happy with our choice.

There were always chilled drinks on board – after all, we had a fridge. In the evening we went back to the jetty. The next day we had a visitor. Even the four of us had enough space. We explored the valley again. After three days, the turn was over. Driving out on the trailer also went well, after all we were well instructed and prepared by the Öchsner team. All in all, everything was great, the yacht line, the sailing and the weather. We will definitely make Saalburg a weekend trip again and we are already looking forward to our next adventure with faith…
