Field report 20 -Yachtline-: Baltic Sea
- Boat model: 20 -YACHTLINE-
- Engine: HONDA BF 100 LRTU
- cruising area: from Lauenburg to Fehmarn
- crew: 1
- crew experience: little experience
In August it was time for the second vacation on the 20 -Yachtline-. From Wolfsburg we first went by car and the boat on the trailer to Lauenburg. There I slipped the boat into the Elbe-Lübeck Canal. I was able to park the car and trailer at WSC Lauenburg for 14 days. The next day, the journey began with the first lock, Lauenburg. After six more locks I arrived in Lübeck. The sluicing worked well right from the start. I moored at The Newport in Lübeck. The harbor is very centrally located and you can easily explore Lübeck on foot. After a two-day stay, we continued on the Trave to Travemünde and finally into the Baltic Sea. After stops in Grömitz and Großenbrode, I moored in the Burgtiefe marina.
Conclusion
The 20 -Yachtline- is an easily trailerable sports boat. It is easy to handle in the water and on land. Despite the length of 6 m, a spacious, comfortable cabin is available. The storage space is sufficient for several days of boating. The camper top is so high that I can stand upright at 1.85 m tall. The additional options installed, such as a built-in refrigerator, sink and pressurized water, make your stay on board very pleasant.
I am still very enthusiastic about my 20 -Yachtline-.
Best regards, Jörg
