Field report SX20 -Yachtline-: Lahntal

After gaining experience as new boat owners during the first season, our Cassiopeia was taken out of the water in Bad Ems at the end of October and thoroughly cleaned. A place for the winter was found in a closed machine hall on a farm nearby.

At the beginning of May, they went back into the water via the Laurenburg slipway. We also spent our second season on the Lahn. We scrapped tour plans that were supposed to take us to the Rhine (Loreley), among other places, because the Rhine only had low water for a long period last year and we didn’t want to appear with our boat among the commercial shipping. So we continued to gain experience and enjoy the comforts that our boat offers us on many tours and balmy summer evenings.

The Öchsner team was always on hand to answer any questions we had in a friendly and professional manner and once again confirmed our decision to purchase the SX20 -Yachtline-.
