The SRX30 -Yachtline- was outstanding with its spaciousness
We had already bought a Coverline boat from Öchsner in 2005, which we now wanted to replace with a larger one. Even back then, trailerability was a key argument in the search for the right boat and the Öchsner SRX30 -Yachtline- was outstanding in terms of space and weight compared to many others. The decision to buy was then made during a live viewing at the last boat show in Düsseldorf, after the many pictures of the beautiful design on the website were confirmed in reality.
We picked up the boat on what was unfortunately still a very cold day, but this did not spoil the impression of the boat. What I found really great was the overall support of the team during the handover and finally the on-site weighing of the boat to prove that the weight data is correct and does not have anything to do with reality as with some other competitors.
Berlin home turf
On the long journey home with the trailer, the smooth running of the trailer was really impressive, which is related to the well thought-out different track widths of the trailer. At home I also installed a parking heater (the Öchsner company also installs one, but we thought about it too late) to keep it warm and cozy in the transitional period. The first trips in our territory at home in Berlin with 2 adults and 2 children over the weekend were a completely new feeling thanks to the extra space. Our plan to take the boat to Croatia in the summer to enjoy the sun and the sea was unfortunately thwarted by a stay in hospital… So the boat was unfortunately only moored at the jetty for the lovely warm 2 months, only to be used afterwards thanks to the auxiliary heating. Until the end of November (when it was fortunately frost-free), we were at least able to take the boat on weekend trips and make the most of the pleasant temperatures during the day. A parking heater makes such a difference to comfort in cold temperatures that we no longer want to do without it. With the camper top and an air outlet in this outdoor area, you can sit comfortably and enjoy the view even in cool temperatures, making the boat pleasantly warm even on cold nights!
The many years of experience of the company. Öchsner shows itself down to the smallest detail
You can tell from the entire boat that many small technical and design details were incorporated during development. This starts with the easily and quickly adjustable sun canopy and extends to the bathing ladder that holds the dinghy. This is certainly due to Öchsner’s many years of experience and the further development of even small details (for the next season, for example, we have received a small technical improvement to the seat backrest lock).
In the coming season, we will finally take the boat to another vacation destination and will be happy to share our experiences in a report!
Thank you very much, Family M.
