Experience report SRX30 -Yachtline-: Mecklenburg Lake District

In April ’21, things finally got underway. We had decided on a permanent mooring on the Mecklenburg Lake District for our first boat. Once there, we found out that unfortunately
Due to the corona here in Meckpom in two days even permanent residents are no longer allowed to their boats… Unsure whether it was allowed at all, after the crane at least a small trip with the
boat – now we knew what we could look forward to.

The time had come in July. We spent a few lovely days together on the boat. In the evening, we would always meet up at the home port. The first time anchoring was completed well thanks to the video – secured in this way, we were able to really relax. We wouldn’t have wanted to miss the super sun loungers on the front deck. Day trips across various lakes and through the canals were a really nice, leisurely experience. As people who are not used to camping, we found the space on the boat absolutely sufficient for us and felt very comfortable. However, we decided that we
would book a vacation apartment for the summer vacation for four, as it would certainly be too cramped for us with our two teenagers.
