Summer Holidays in Croatia
The journey with the trailer was calm and relaxed until we reached Hohenbrunn – which is behind Munich – heading to Rosenheim. From a distance we recognized three patrol cars that were parked under a bridge. My assumption was confirmed after a minute. One of them asked us to follow. They couldn’t believe that the boat in fact was not exceeding the gross vehicle weight rating. We waited long minutes in a fully loaded car, but then weLange Minuten im voll beladenen Auto begannen, but finally the relief came on the scales: 40kg underweight!
The journey through Austria to the island of Krk continued calmly. Craning the boat worked again like a charm.
This time we traveled by boat via Rab, Pag, and Vir to the village of Nin, where we spent the night in the small harbor on the jetty (water depth 70cm). In fact it is a very nice village.
The next day, we traveled to Biograd via Zadar, where we got to know another SR30 crew. We traveled some days together until reachting Skradin. In total we met four captains with an SR30. Everyone was very satisfied with their -YACHTLINE-.
Unfortunately the four weeks passed too quickly, but the beautiful bays in which we stayed will be remembered for a long time.
