Short vacation on Lake Constance with the SR30 -YACHTLINE-
On July 6th, 2020 my husband and I decided at short notice to treat ourselves to a few days of vacation on our SR30 -Yachtline- on Lake Constance.
We started out very comfortably in the morning on July 6, 2020 from Bregenz. The weather was fantastic and the Lake Constance temperature was a pleasant 24 ° C. Our leisurely ride took us to Radolfzell on the northwestern bank of the Untersee, with a few breaks for swimming. We found a guest berth for one night in the port water sports club Waschbruck in Radolfzell. We spent a wonderful evening with an excellent dinner in the beautiful old town of Radolfzell.
The next morning, after further breaks for swimming, our journey continued towards Stein am Rhein in beautiful weather. In the late afternoon we found a berth directly after the Rhine bridge and the nice harbor master allowed us to moor the boat for four hours. After a leisurely stroll through the old town of Stein am Rhein, we hiked to Hohenklingen Castle in the evening, where we enjoyed an unforgettable dinner. We spent the night anchored off Allensbach. But before that we were allowed to enjoy a beautiful sunset before our SR30 rocked us to sleep.
After a good breakfast on board, we drove to Constance the next day. Here, too, we got a guest berth without any difficulties and spent the afternoon and evening in the old town of Konstanz. We visited the Konstanz Minster, went shopping and in the evening enjoyed a meal in a cozy old restaurant.
Unfortunately, it was time to return home the next morning. After a nice bathing break in front of Romanshorn we reached our home port late in the evening after another wonderful sunset.
The SR30-Yachtline is the ideal boat for us and we are already looking forward to next summer.
