Day 1 – Our start with the 29 -Yachtline-

The time had finally come for us to take delivery of our fantastic boat (perfect workmanship, functional, beautiful and fast – Volvo Penta with 280 hp) in Kürnach. We had been in an absolute state of emergency for weeks. Sven Küffner and Florian Öchsner managed to raise our blood pressure during the very comprehensive briefing and the first trip on the Main, we were so nervous and full of joy.

Day 2 – one adventure after the next

First adventure – 462 km trailering to the new area and the home port “Havel Marin” in Brandenburg an der Havel, great ride, the Öchsner trailer is very good and maneuverable.

Second adventure – refueling at Aral in Brandenburg an der Havel, we had to pay in between, this number of liters “could not” the pump. We were the much admired attraction at the gas station.

Third adventure – craning, an absolute thrill, thanks to the professional harbor master everything went smoothly, only we were almost at the “end” of our actually strong nerves but not yet at our destination.

Fourth adventure – First trip to the “pitch” in the “Havel Marin”, a very nice complex with guest moorings, a very good restaurant directly on the Havel, lots of palm trees, a bathing area, very well-equipped bungalows directly on the site and passable sanitary facilities. Location: directly in front of the city lock, if you “take” this you can drive wonderfully through the city or in the other direction to Ketzin (highly recommended place with a lot of history and a very nice harbor) past cozy Havel bays that invite you to anchor – see our day 3.

Day 3 – the first night on board

After an evening for two and a pretty good amount of “spiritual drinks” to “wind down”, we spent the night for the first time in the spacious and super cozy owner’s cabin. Tip for all those who want to stay overnight more often: custom-made mattresses, which we bought later, increase the sleeping comfort considerably (if you need a tip on the manufacturer, please contact us).

Here are some impressions of the first trip across the Havel, including the first anchorage in one of the countless and beautiful Havel bays and of the “inner life” of our 29 -Yachtline-, please note the great kitchen with ceramic hob. We will show you the sensational glass cockpit in the next report.

We are already looking forward to the next season with our 29 -Yachtline-!
Best regards, Carsten and Jana
