Field report 29 -Yachtline-: Moselle

Unfortunately, the boating season started three weeks late due to the coronavirus. Then the beautiful weekends on the Moselle could finally begin. We actually wanted to spend our summer vacation in Croatia, but decided to stay in Germany due to the difficult situation.

We sailed from our home port in Senheim on the Moselle to the Rhine, then via the Weser-Dattel Canal and the Rhine-Marne Canal and back via the Rhine to the Moselle. We would never have thought that the Ruhr area has such a beautiful green landscape, you get completely different impressions when you travel along the canals. We received a very friendly welcome in many ports. Unfortunately, the season came to an end at the end of October and we had to get our boat out of the water.
